Dr. Juan José Guillén is the group coordinator on gamete and embryo donation at the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF).
- Graduate in Medicine from the University of Barcelona.
- Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the University of Barcelona and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona.
- Coordinator for Medical Genetics and Eugin's egg donation prorgamme, Eudona.
- Coordinator of the Endocrinology, Gynaecology and Reproduction Section at the Catalan Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which belongs to the Academy of Medical and Health Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
- Coordinator of the Gamete and Embryo Donation Working Group for the Spanish Fertility Society.
About Dr. Juan José Guillén
Since 2000, Dr. Guillén has been the medical coordinator of the Reproductive Genetics Unit and the Eudona egg donation programme. He has also worked as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mataró Hospital from 2000 to 2012 and has been trained in specialised courses such as the Applications of Genetics in Assisted Human Reproduction organised by the Genetics Interest Group of the Association for the Study of Reproductive Biology (ASEBIR). Dr. Guillén has contributed about forty presentations and studies to the field of human reproduction at different congresses, both nationally and internationally, on the latest advances in genetic testing, egg donation and fertility preservation, among other topics.
