Egg Vitrification
By means of egg vitrification we are able to preserve a woman’s mature eggs. The method we use is flash freezing, which keeps these cells unchanged for an indefinite time, until they are used.
The same fertilization rate
Our studies show that the fertilization rate of vitrified eggs is similar to that of those extracted from the body. In addition, vitrification has advantages: it keeps the characteristics of the eggs intact indefinitely. Once the time has come, it makes it possible to schedule the transfer at the most suitable moment.

Phases
Step 1
We control and stimulate the ovaries. We prepare your ovaries by administering hormones so that there are more chances of success by recruiting more eggs than during a natural cycle. We control the development of the cycle by means of ultrasound, until checking that both the number and size of the follicles is suitable.
Step 2
With a small puncture, we extract the oocytes from the ovary and select the mature ones. One by one, they are immersed in a sucrose solution. This removes the water they contain and thus no crystals form during freezing, which could damage them.
Step 3
The oocytes are placed in a tube called a straw, which has been prepared for cryonization. This is immersed in liquid nitrogen at -196ºC and they are vitrified in seconds.
Step 4
The eggs are kept frozen in the nitrogen tank for an indefinite time, until they are used. To thaw them, the reverse process is done. The patient receives a card with the image of the oocytes that have been vitrified. With this technique, the survival of the cells is above 90% and their characteristics remain intact. At that moment, we proceed to their fertilization.
