Conjugal Artificial Insemination is a treatment that is used when sperm have difficulty reaching the uterus, or if there are ovulatory disorders or sterility with an unknown cause.

We will introduce your partner’s sperm, previously selected, at the most appropriate time,
directly into your uterus to increase the chances of pregnancy.

Step 1
Preparation of the egg and semen
We will inseminate your egg with your partner’s sperm in the uterus. This means that your chances of getting pregnant are as high as 41%.
Step 2
We control and stimulate the ovaries
We will administer hormones to your ovaries to increase the chances of success. We control the progress of the cycle with ultrasound scans, until we can verify that the number and size of the follicles is suitable. One follicle will be enough.
Step 3
We will prepare the sperm sample
On the day of insemination, the sperm sample is delivered to the laboratory. We separate the motile sperm from the rest in order to have a sufficient concentration of motile sperm and perform the insemination.
Step 4
It’s time for the insemination
On the day of ovulation we load the sample of selected sperm into a thin cannula and insert it into the uterus. It is a simple, painless process and very similar to any gynaecological check-up.
