In the current global scenario caused by the international outbreak of COVID-19, many doubts have arisen from our patients that we would like to clarify by answering each and every one of them and by trying to bring us as close as possible to all of you.
When will clinics resume their normal functioning?
We are currently following the guidelines of the Spanish and European health authorities. When it is confirmed that assisted reproduction clinics can resume their normal services, we will certainly be delighted to attend to you once again and open our clinic doors.
Should I wait until the state of emergency is over before making a first appointment with a doctor?
During this period of confinement, we will continue to offer you a first medical visit with a specialist in assisted reproduction by videoconference, so that nothing may stop your dream of becoming a mother.
If I don’t have all the necessary medical tests, does it make sense to make a video call with a doctor?
We recommend that you do have a video conference as there are other aspects to consider before establishing a possible diagnosis or requesting new medical tests. When we are able to meet again in person, we will have advanced in the process and you will be able to undergo your treatment sooner. In addition, you will be able to clear up any doubts you may have, without leaving your home.
At what stage is the process of selecting the egg donors?
Egg donors can also use the video call channel to make their first medical appointment by video conference. In addition, Eugin has an egg and sperm bank that will allow us to start egg donation treatments with the least possible delay.
I had a second visit scheduled soon. Can I do it online?
If you had a scheduled visit at Eugin, our team will contact you to re-arrange it or, where possible, do so via a video call with your doctor.
We at Eugin do everything possible to stay by your side and support you in what is a difficult situation for all of us. Remember that our usual channels of communication are available and that you can request a video call. #StayHome until this is all over.
