Dr. Daniel Mataró

Dr. Mataró has a degree in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is specialised in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Since then, he has dedicated himself to reproductive medicine at the Eugin Clinic, where he has been working on its development since its inception, and combining his healthcare activity, first at the Hospital General de Vic, and later at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona) and then at CIRH, a clinic belonging to the Eugin Group. In 2006 he received his PhD Cum Laude from the University of Barcelona for his work on the results of assisted reproduction in HIV positive women. He also dedicates part of his work to scientific and teaching projects and has authored publications in international journals and given presentations at conferences such as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Congress of the European Society of Gynecology, the Gynécologie Obstétrique Pratique, as well as many others. He has lectured on the International Master's Degree in Reproductive Medicine (UAB), the Master's Degree in Reproductive Biology and Assisted Reproductive Techniques (UAB) and the Master's Degree in Human Assisted Reproductive Technologies at Pompeu Fabra University. Recently, he has been a member of the board of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF). He enjoys running in his spare time and has run several marathons and half marathons.
